Position Quality Engineer Location SE TechnoHub Hosur Department Quality Assurance Control Reports to QA QC Manager Project Manager Employment Type Full-time Role Overview The Quality Engineer at SE Techno Hub plays a critical role in ensuring that all products materials and processes meet defined quality standards The role involves inspection documentation compliance checks and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain customer satisfaction and company standards Key Responsibilities Conduct in-process and final inspections for fabricated structures tanks pressure vessels ducting and pipeline works Ensure adherence to quality procedures specifications and drawings at all stages of production and erection Maintain and update Quality Control documentation including Inspection Test Plans ITPs checklists and test reports Coordinate with the Design Department for drawing approvals and updates Verify and maintain records of third-party and internal test certificates for raw materials and welding consumables Monitor welding activities and conduct visual inspections of joints and fittings Participate in internal and external audits as per ISO ASME Client standards Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA for quality issues Support the project team in preparing handover documentation and quality dossiers Work closely with the site supervisor and project coordinator for quality compliance at the site Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of QA QC procedures and fabrication standards ASME IS codes etc Proficient in using measuring instruments and tools Vernier Micro Meter etc Good understanding of welding processes SMAW GTAW etc Familiarity with documentation standards - ITPs WPS PQR NDT reports Strong analytical and communication skills Working knowledge of MS Office AutoCAD preferred and QMS documentation Educational Qualification Experience Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 1-4 years of experience in QA QC in fabrication or manufacturing industries Certification in NDT Level II preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Work Location In person
