Job Description About the Role FloTorch is seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in documenting complex AI/ML products, platforms, and solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working closely with engineering, product management, and data science teams to create clear, concise, and user-focused documentation. Job Location: Pune/ Hyderabad Key Responsibilities - Develop high-quality technical content, including user guides, API documentation, SDK references, release notes, tutorials, and whitepapers for AI/ML products. - Translate complex AI/ML workflows, algorithms, and data engineering concepts into simple, user-friendly documentation for developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers. - Collaborate with product managers, AI/ML engineers, Data Scientists and Developers to gather insights and ensure technical accuracy. - Maintain a consistent content style guide and documentation standards across all deliverables. - Participate in UX design reviews, product demos, and sprint planning to proactively identify documentation needs. Continuously update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback. Required Skills & Qualifications - 512 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment. - Proven experience documenting AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, APIs, or cloud-based solutions. - Strong ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts (e.g., model training, deployment, MLOps, inference, data processing) to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, AsciiDoc, Confluence, Git, DITA/XML, or similar frameworks. - Hands-on experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman). - Familiarity with programming/data technologies like Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or ML frameworks (reading/understanding code is a plus). - Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment with distributed teams. Nice-to-Have - Exposure to AI/ML product lifecycles (model experimentation, deployment, monitoring). - Experience with knowledge management systems, chatbots, or AI-driven documentation assistants. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools. - Contribution to open-source projects or developer communities.
