iGaming If it s iGaming we know a thing or two At Light Wonder It s all about the games and our digital team leads the global iGaming market providing jaw-dropping content and innovative software that powers the world s most successful online gaming providers Position Summary Key Responsibilities Assist in creating 2D illustrations including characters environments and in-game assets maintaining high artistic quality Support the team in developing engaging 2D animations for game elements enhancing player experience Learn and work with Spine 2D to create and refine character and object animations Collaborate with senior artists and developers to understand game art requirements and deliver assets accordingly Adapt to various artistic styles and ensure consistency across projects Optimize assets for performance and seamless integration into the game pipeline Stay open to feedback and continuously improve by learning new tools techniques and industry best practices Communicate effectively with team members and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of the games Requirements Strong drawing and illustration skills with an understanding of composition colour and character design Basic knowledge of 2D animation principles and a keen interest in developing animation skills Familiarity with Spine 2D or a willingness to learn it quickly Technically inclined with the ability to adapt to new tools and software efficiently A strong personal portfolio showcasing digital illustrations character designs background art and animations Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Enthusiastic eager to learn and open to feedback and guidance Nice-to-Have Skills Basic understanding of game development pipelines and asset optimization Familiarity with Photoshop Illustrator or other digital painting software Exposure to UI UX design for games is a plus 3D application knowledge i e Blender 3D Maya 3DS Max etc Qualifications
