Job Description Job Summary The Sr Product Specialist in ISG will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our Ingenium-based systems within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will leverage their expertise in Ingenium Data Model Architecture S-Steps P-Steps Flow Files JCL and Cobol to drive impactful solutions. This role does not require travel. Responsibilities - Lead the development and enhancement of Ingenium-based systems to support business objectives in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. - Oversee the integration of Ingenium Data Model and Architecture to ensure seamless system operations. - Provide technical expertise in Ingenium S-Steps and P-Steps to optimize system performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Ingenium Flow Files for efficient data processing. - Utilize JCL and Cobol to develop and maintain robust batch processing solutions. - Ensure system compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Conduct thorough testing and validation of system enhancements to guarantee quality and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize system downtime. - Document system processes and enhancements to facilitate knowledge sharing and training. - Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Support the implementation of best practices in system development and maintenance. - Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. - Contribute to the strategic planning of system upgrades and new feature development. Qualifications - Possess a strong understanding of Ingenium Data Model and Architecture. - Demonstrate expertise in Ingenium S-Steps P-Steps and Flow Files. - Have proficiency in JCL and Cobol for system development. - Bring experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. - Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
