Job Description Job Title: Merchandiser Location: ZAVYA, GURGAON Travel Requirement: Open to Travel Experience: 1-5 years CTC: 8-12 LPA Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser with strong communication and negotiation skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the fashion & lifestyle industry. Hands-on experience in coordinating with multiple vendors, production follow-ups, and product development. Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets is essential. The role demands adaptability, a learning mindset, and a willingness to travel as required. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management & Negotiation - Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships. - Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms - Ensure vendor compliance with quality, timelines, and specifications Product Development & Sampling - Work closely with design and production teams for sampling & prototyping - Track sample development and communicate feedback for revisions - Maintain accurate sample records and approvals Production Follow-ups - Oversee production timelines and ensure timely deliveries - Coordinate with vendors for order execution, quality checks, and dispatches - Troubleshoot delays or issues proactively Data Management & Reporting - Maintain detailed trackers in Excel/Google Sheets (including advanced formulas) - Generate reports on vendor performance, costing, order status, etc. - Analyze data for cost savings and process improvements Communication & Coordination - Act as the point of contact between internal teams (design, QC, logistics) and vendors - Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats - Schedule and document meetings, calls, and follow-ups effectively Travel & Market Research - Willingness to travel for vendor visits, production checks, trade shows, etc. - Stay updated with industry trends and materials Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field - 1-5 years of experience in merchandising - Proven experience in vendor handling, production follow-ups, and sampling - Strong command over MS Excel and Google Sheets (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) - Excellent negotiation and communication skills - Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable - Comfortable with frequent travel - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment NOTE: Please fill the attached google form *(mandatory) LINK: https://forms.gle/98SXaBN9ecF3A9zr8
