Godown/Warehouse Operations Open and close the godown/warehouse according to the operational schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Monitor inventory and report any discrepancies or damages. Assist in stock arrangement, labeling, and storage for easy accessibility. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse guidelines. 2. Cleaning & Maintenance Perform regular cleaning of the godown to ensure a hygienic working environment. Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean and well-maintained. Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintenance of warehouse cleanliness standards. 3. Weighing Machine Testing Conduct routine checks and testing of weighing machines used in inventory or customer deliveries. Ensure the accuracy and proper functioning of machines. Report any malfunctions or maintenance requirements promptly. 4. Material Procurement Visit shops, suppliers, or markets to purchase materials required for warehouse operations or company needs. Ensure timely procurement while adhering to budget and quality standards. Maintain records of purchases, bills, and receipts for proper tracking. 5. Machine Delivery Occasionally assist in delivering machines or equipment to customers’ locations. Ensure proper handling and safe transportation of goods. Coordinate with customers for delivery timing and confirm satisfaction upon completion. 6. Communication & Documentation Able to read and understand basic English for following instructions, labeling, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, purchases, and warehouse activities. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers when required. 7. Personal Mobility & Transportation Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving license for traveling to shops, suppliers, or customer locations. Responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good working condition for official use. Ensure safety and timely travel during operational activities. 8. Work Ethic & Reliability Exhibit a hardworking and sincere attitude in performing assigned tasks. Show initiative and willingness to handle multiple responsibilities.
