Job Description

- Strategic Architecture Design:Lead the conceptualization and architecture of scalable, efficient, and resilient infrastructure automation solutions.
- DevOps Practices Implementation:Champion the implementation of DevOps practices to enhance automation workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration strategies.
- Infrastructure Automation Expertise:Develop intricate automation solutions for network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components, leveraging advanced API integrations following RESTful API arch and integration design.
- Technical Mentorship:Mentor and provide expert technical guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Container Management Leadership:Offer strategic guidance and establish best practices for container management, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive Documentation:Create and sustain detailed documentation for architecture, design, and implementation processes.
- Cross-Functional Systems Integration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and tools, including Elastic software stack and ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Integration Strategy:Drive the strategic integration of configuration automation tools with ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Extensive Experience:Proven experience as a Software Architect or equivalent role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
- Technical Expertise:Deep expertise in Python and Ansible/Terraform for automation scripting.
- Linux and Container Proficiency:Extensive knowledge of Linux systems and container management (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Infrastructure Automation Expertise:Demonstrated experience in automating network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components.
- API Integration Skills:Strong emphasis on API integrations for seamless automation.
- ServiceNow Familiarity:In-depth familiarity with IT service management platforms, especially ServiceNow.
- DevOps Practices:Solid understanding and experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with version mgmt. tools like Git.
- Problem-Solving Excellence:Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective Communication:Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Educational Background:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

- ServiceNow Integration Experience:Demonstrated experience in integrating automation tools with ServiceNow.
- Relevant Certifications:Certifications in relevant technologies, as available.
