Job Description:

We are looking for a Wire Harness CAD Engineer with 15 years of experience in the automotive domain. The candidate will be responsible for creating 2D/3D wire harness designs and schematic drawings based on design inputs and engineering instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and route wire harnesses using CAD tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, CATIA, or Creo.
- Create and modify schematic drawings as per engineering guidance.
- Ensure harness designs meet automotive standards and packaging requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for integration and updates.
- Maintain BOMs, connector tables, and release documentation.
- Create and maintain connector and wire libraries in the CAD environment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 15 years of experience in wire harness design for automotive applications.
- Working knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks Electrical, CATIA EHI, or Creo Cabling).
- Understanding of automotive harnessing standards and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering instructions.
