which is why we encourage and enable a wealth of avenues and interesting opportunities for everyone to broaden and deepen their skills and expertise As a global organisation spanning 65 countries and one rooted in a culture of growth opportunity diversity and innovation LSEG is a place where everyone can grow develop and fulfil your potential with meaningful careers Role profile We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workday Systems Engineer to join our People Engineering team and lead the design development and optimization of the HCM lifecycle processes in our Workday platform This role will serve as a technical expert on key processes such as hire onboarding job changes and leavers amongst many others and will partner with the People function and other stakeholders to create smooth scalable secure processes aligned with business goals and focused on delivering a best-in-class user experience ROLE SUMMARY System Design Architecture Lead the technical design and configuration of Workday processes - specialising in core employee lifecycle events Enhancements Drive Workday functionality implementations upgrades and feature rollouts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions Support Maintenance Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Workday issues Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement Governance Compliance Ensure data integrity security and compliance with internal policies and external regulations Maintain documentation for system configurations integrations and processes Mentorship Collaboration Mentor more junior Workday engineers Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders WHAT YOU LL BE DOING Receiving requirements from the business for new or upgrades to processes assessing benefits vs cost to understand return on investment translating requirements into sensible solutions Partner with internal teams and external vendors when required to support defining scope requirements timelines and deliverables Run workshops and design sessions in partnership with stakeholders and external vendors when required to determine requirements and playback configuration solutions Single-handedly manage all phases of the project lifecycle as you run configuration projects Build sustainable efficient and easy to follow processes in Workday - predominantly in the core LCM area but more occasionally across all function areas e g Recruiting Talent Performance Compensation Absence etc Support training testing and user adoption activities to ensure successful rollout and sustainability WHAT YOU LL BRING Essential Skills Experience Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role Experience must be in Workday HCM - core HR processes however experience in at least one other area required ideally Talent Acquisition Absence or Talent Performance Strong understanding of Workday business processes Understanding of Workday security and reporting Experience with Workday releases and change management processes Ability to manage own projects through all stages Desirable Skills Workday certifications in one or more modules Experience with Workday Extend Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Asana or ServiceNow Soft Skills Proactive detail-oriented and highly organised Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement innovation and quality user experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment WHAT YOU LL GET IN RETURN Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with cutting-edge HR technology Collaborative and inclusive work culture Career growth and professional development support Proud to share LSEG in the India is Great Place to Work certified Jun 25 -
