This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 700000 - Rs 1100000 ie INR 7-11 LPA Min Experience 8 years Location Mumbai NOIDA JobType full-time We are seeking a highly experienced Implementation Specialist to join our team and drive the successful deployment of freight forwarding solutions across multiple client engagements This role requires deep expertise in freight forwarding processes the ability to translate business requirements into execution plans and proven experience in leading end-to-end implementation projects You will act as a bridge between clients internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless onboarding system configuration and solution delivery Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of freight forwarding systems for enterprise clients including air ocean and land freight operations Create and execute detailed implementation plans aligned with client needs including project timelines resource allocation milestone tracking and risk mitigation Work closely with sales operations and product teams to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions that meet freight forwarding workflow specifications Serve as a subject matter expert SME on freight forwarding operations guiding clients on process optimization and system usage best practices Manage client onboarding including data migration systems integration documentation UAT and training sessions Troubleshoot issues and provide escalation support during and post-implementation ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimal operational disruption Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to configure APIs EDI and platform integrations with transportation management systems TMS warehouse management systems WMS and other tools Continuously improve implementation frameworks and templates based on feedback and evolving logistics industry standards Lead stakeholder communication providing regular updates to both internal and external parties on project progress risks and dependencies Drive change management and user adoption through detailed documentation workshops and post-implementation reviews Required Skills and Qualifications 8-12 years of experience in freight forwarding logistics or supply chain management with a strong track record of successful implementation project delivery In-depth understanding of global freight forwarding processes including imports exports customs documentation and carrier integrations Proven experience in leading complex multi-stakeholder implementation projects across global geographies Strong project management capabilities with expertise in project planning risk management and agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving communication and client management skills Familiarity with freight forwarding systems such as CargoWise Descartes SAP TM or similar platforms is highly desirable Experience working with API EDI integrations and logistics software implementation is a strong advantage Ability to work independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives to completion under tight timelines Preferred Qualifications PMP Six Sigma or equivalent project management certification Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or related field Master s degree is a plus Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the logistics industry
