Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing for NAPS Apprentices:Ensure the accurate and timely calculation and disbursement of monthly stipends and other benefits for apprentices engaged under the NAPS scheme. Compliance Management:Ensure all NAPS-related payroll and HR processes comply with statutory regulations, including Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (TDS). Record Maintenance:Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records for all apprentices, including earnings, deductions, and attendance. Statutory Filings:Prepare and submit all required statutory filings related to NAPS apprentices to relevant government authorities. Reconciliation & Reporting:Regularly reconcile payroll accounts, ensuring accuracy and generating detailed reports for management. Audits:Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits of payroll processes. Employee Support:Serve as a primary contact for NAPS apprentices to address queries related to their payments, deductions, and other benefits. Law Updates:Stay informed about changes in labor laws and tax policies that may affect NAPS programs and ensure the company's processes remain compliant. Key SkillsKnowledge of NAPS:Understanding of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and its operational requirements. Payroll Expertise:Proficiency in end-to-end payroll processing, calculations, deductions, and benefits administration. Statutory Compliance:Strong knowledge of Indian payroll-related laws and regulations, such as EPF, ESI, and TDS. Analytical Skills:Ability to perform regular audits, reconcile accounts, and generate accurate reports. Communication Skills:Effectively respond to employee inquiries and communicate complex information clearly. Attention to Detail:Meticulous approach to ensure the accuracy of payroll data and compliance records.
