Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate an unconstrained demand plan. Each day, you will conduct finished goods rationalization in coordination with relevant functions. You will also showcase your skills by measuring and reporting on improvement in demand planning accuracy.

The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business – Low Voltage Products in India region.
Main stakeholders are Sales, Projects, Finance, Product Management, internal supply chain teams, and external customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating and maintaining an 18–24 month rolling unconstrained demand forecast using data from Sales, Projects, Product Management, and Finance.

• Conducting finished goods SKU analysis, recommending rationalization initiatives, and integrating them into the Inventory Check Book (ICBK).

• Managing the local Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and coordinating lifecycle planning, including new product launches, phase-outs, and platform changes.

• Improving forecast accuracy through root cause analysis, forecasting technique refinement, and macroeconomic factor evaluation.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage demand drivers, mix shifts, and changes in market trends.

• Supporting Sales by consolidating global demand plans, enabling alignment with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.

• Facilitating continuous improvement in demand planning processes, tools, data integration, and collaboration across the value chain.

Qualifications for the role

- 8–12 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management within the electrical or process manufacturing industries.
- Skilled in applying advanced forecasting techniques, consumption models, and scenario planning to enhance forecast reliability.
- Highly adept in SAP, advanced Excel, and demand planning tools such as APO, IBP, or equivalent.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and deliver solutions across the value chain.
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Adept communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Comfortable communicating in English; proficiency in additional languages.
