Job Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of IT services projects to clients. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Delivery Manager will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead the planning and implementation of IT service delivery projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, including project managers, developers, engineers, and other technical staff. Provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure high performance.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand client needs, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Implement best practices and processes to improve service delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary tools, skills, and support to succeed.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability. Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the delivery team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management and clients. Provide regular updates and reports.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, IT service delivery, or a related field. Proven track record of successful project delivery in an IT services environment.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
