The Crypto Times is a fast-growing digital media platform covering the latest news, insights, and analysis from the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Crypto News Editor to join our editorial team in Ahmedabad.

Role Overview

The Crypto News Editor will be responsible for editing, fact-checking, and managing news articles written by the reporting team. The editor must ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of news while managing assigned writers and maintaining workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and fact-check 25+ news articles per shift for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and style compliance.
- Review assigned news files with speed and precision without compromising quality.
- Ensure headlines, structure, and content meet SEO and editorial guidelines.
- Coordinate with the editorial team and writers to ensure smooth daily workflow.
- Provide feedback and guidance to writers for improving article quality.
- Collaborate with team leaders for daily news assignments and deadlines.
- Ensure error-free and well-polished articles are published within strict timelines.
- Manage team performance and maintain professional communication within the newsroom.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Editor / Sub-Editor / Copy Editor in digital media, preferably in finance, crypto, or tech news.
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 industry trends.
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and editorial standards.
- Ability to edit high-volume content quickly while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong organizational and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (WordPress preferred).
