Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Galaxy Seeker, located in Mumbai. The day-to-day tasks include exploring and observing celestial bodies, identifying and cataloging new astronomical phenomena, recording and analyzing data from telescopic observations, and collaborating with a team of researchers. Additionally, the Galaxy Seeker will present findings at conferences and publish research in scientific journals.

Qualifications

- Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Science knowledge and skills
- Proficiency in using telescopes and related observational equipment
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation of astronomical data
- Excellent research and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work as part of a research team
- Good communication skills for presenting findings
- Master's degree or PhD in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or a related field
