Galaxy Seeker

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Galaxy Seeker, located in Mumbai. The day-to-day tasks include exploring and observing celestial bodies, identifying and cataloging new astronomical phenomena, recording and analyzing data from telescopic observations, and collaborating with a team of researchers. Additionally, the Galaxy Seeker will present findings at conferences and publish research in scientific journals.

Qualifications

• Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Space Science knowledge and skills
• Proficiency in using telescopes and related observational equipment
• Experience in data analysis and interpretation of astronomical data
• Excellent research and documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work as part of a research team
• Good communication skills for presenting findings
• Master's degree or PhD in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or a related field
