The role requires strong leadership in managing production, supply chain, retail operations, and business growth for a luxury jewellery brand. The COO will work closely with the Managing Director to implement strategies that ensure efficiency, profitability, and brand excellence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Operations Management - Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company goals in sales, production, and profitability. - Oversee day-to-day operations across manufacturing, sourcing, quality control, logistics, and retail divisions. - Establish operational policies, systems, and processes to ensure seamless functioning. 2. Manufacturing & Production - Supervise jewelry manufacturing units to ensure timely and quality production. - Optimize resource allocation, reduce wastage, and maintain cost efficiency. - Ensure adherence to design, quality, and hallmarking standards. 3. Sales, Retail & Customer Experience - Work with retail and marketing teams to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. - Oversee performance of showrooms, exhibitions, and online platforms. - Monitor market trends and customer preferences to guide product and sales strategies. 4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management - Streamline procurement, vendor management, and logistics processes. - Maintain balanced stock levels and ensure proper tracking of raw materials and finished goods. - Implement ERP or software systems for smooth coordination between departments. 5. Financial & Performance Management - Collaborate with the finance team to monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. - Set KPIs for departments and track performance metrics regularly. - Drive cost optimization and profit improvement initiatives. 6. Team Leadership & Development - Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across manufacturing, sales, HR, and operations. - Build a culture of accountability, quality, and innovation. - Identify training and development needs for staff. 7. Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure compliance with labour laws, hallmarking regulations, and export-import norms. - Oversee risk management, security, and operational audits. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. - Minimum1015 years of experiencein the jewelry industry, including leadership roles. - Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing, retail, and export processes. - Proven ability to manage large teams and complex operations. - Experience in ERP systems, process automation, and performance improvement.
