We’re hiring a skilled Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of experience supporting U.S. accounting operations. You’ll manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero. This role suits someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently across time zones. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and credit cards - Record daily transactions in QuickBooks or Xero with 100% accuracy - Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports - Manage accounts payable, receivable, and vendor payments - Support payroll, invoicing, and expense management - Collaborate with U.S. CPAs and finance managers during month-end and year-end close - Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and best practices What You’ll Bring - 5+ years of bookkeeping experience for U.S.-based companies - Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Xero - Clear understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial workflows - Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple clients - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Bonus Skills - Experience with Gusto, Bill.com, Dext, or similar accounting tools - Familiarity with tax preparation or CPA coordination
