planning and assurance of supply of Electrical and Electronic components This role is responsible for planning and development-cycle of creative and cost-effective life-extension solutions to assure source of supply The life-extension solution may encompass designing out end-of-life obsolete piece parts re-designing Electrical Electronic components to extend the life of legacy system supplier selection re-sourcing and may involve defining repair options of older parts Responsibilities Develops and implements strategies to proactively manage the risks associated with Electrical Electronic components becoming obsolete ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing potential disruptions to products and services Define and maintain Sustainment strategy for Electrical Electronics components Monitors Governs reports out the Process KPIs to Stakeholders Overseeing project progress and costs communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas addressing and resolving problems Introducing and coordinating Obsolescence management initiatives across different teams Identify continuous improvement opportunities to mitigate obsolescence proactively and strategically Influence the system users for Legacy parts removal Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities Apply systematic problem-solving skills to define issues explore creative solutions develop qualify and implement corrective actions in a timely manner Lead team meetings by establishing an agenda monitoring discussion to ensure adherence to agenda promoting a free exchange of ideas challenging the pre-conception of team members finishing the meeting in a timely fashion and publishing meeting minutes Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering Electrical or
