Company Description ALTEN Calsoft Labs is an Enterprise IT and product engineering service provider founded in 1992 Calsoft Labs was acquired by the French Based Multinational Engineering service provider ALTEN in 2011 with offices in United States Europe Singapore and India The company primarily focuses on Healthcare Education Retail and Networking Telecom industries www altencalsoftlabs com Position Name Senior Embedded Audio Engineer Generic Embedded Firmware Development Skills Excellent Programming Skills in C Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architecture like Cortex-A series ARM series processors etc Working experience of on bare metal RTOS device driver development Working experience of architecting embedded systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good Debugging skills and hands on with coding and tool usage Linux Kernel programming skills device driver embedded systems experience as added advantage Audio Expertise Technical depth in acoustics electronics and DSP Basic understanding on physics of sound and acoustic transducer component parameters and test methods Working with audio data handling processing from microphone Knowledge of audio test systems equipment tools for Audio performance and quality testing For example - Audio Weaver ACQUA Soundcheck Audio Precision etc Familiar with digital audio interfaces formats SPDIF I2S PCM PDM TDM Test verification of electrical design for high volume audio product Nice-To-Have Experience performing design verification for high-volume products in an engineering lab environment would be a plus DSP software development approaches and knowledge would be plus Other Skills Excellent written and verbal communication Direct customer US or Europe based interaction will be added advantage Write high quality efficient extensible and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment Participate in feature and designs discussions within and across teams Evangelize and inform with well-written design documents and conduct peer-reviews Review code develop documentation and capacity plans and debug the hardest problems live on some of the most innovative IoT devices Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
