Meditrina Hospital Kollam is a flagship unit of the Meditrina Group of Hospitals one of India s fastest-growing chains specializing in advanced cardiac and multi-specialty healthcare services We are NABH-accredited and equipped with the latest diagnostic and interventional technologies delivering comprehensive and compassionate care across specialties Our Cardiology Department is one of the most active and advanced in the region performing high volumes of interventional procedures and offering unparalleled learning and professional growth for clinical staff We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Cath Lab team The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience as a Scrub Nurse in a Cath Lab and demonstrate a strong understanding of sterile technique patient care and cath lab protocols Key Responsibilities Assist interventional cardiologists during procedures such as coronary angiograms angioplasties pacemaker and ICD implantations and other cardiac catheter-based interventions Function as a scrub nurse maintaining a sterile field passing instruments and handling devices with precision and care Prepare the Cath Lab before and after procedures including equipment checks sterilization and documentation Monitor patient vitals during and after procedures identify complications and assist in immediate interventions as needed Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural nursing care ensuring patient safety comfort and education Coordinate with cardiologists technicians and fellow nurses to ensure smooth workflow within the department Accurately document nursing notes medications administered consumables used and patient observations Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies radiation safety guidelines and hospital protocols Required Qualifications Skills Educational Qualification B Sc Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution License Must be registered with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Scrub Nurse in a hospital setting Excellent knowledge of cardiac procedures and Cath Lab equipment Strong clinical and technical nursing skills including emergency response Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and perform efficiently during emergencies Willingness to work in shifts including on-call and emergency duties What We Offer A professional and collaborative work environment Opportunity to work in a high-volume advanced cardiac center Ongoing clinical training and development opportunities Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Benefits including Provident Fund ESI Leave entitlement and more Access to internal career growth across Meditrina Group units How to Apply Interested candidates may send their updated resume to hr klm meditrinahospital com with the subject line Application for Cath Lab - Staff Nurse Meditrina Hospital Kollam Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 25 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Leave encashment Paid sick time Education Diploma Required Experience Cath Lab 2 years Required License Certification KNC Registration Required Location Kollam Kerala Required Work Location In person
