Job Description Job Title: General Manager Two-Wheeler Showroom Location: Banasawadi, Bangalore Reports To: Owner / Director / Senior Management Employment Type: Full-Time Salary- 9 LPA to 10 LPA Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the overall operations of our two-wheeler showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, coordinating with vendors, accounts, and senior management, and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Sales Management: - Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. - Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and guidance as needed. - Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns to increase footfall and conversions. - Ensure an excellent customer experience is delivered at all touchpoints. Vendor Coordination: - Maintain effective relationships with two-wheeler manufacturers and suppliers. - Manage inventory levels, place timely vehicle and spare parts orders. - Track delivery schedules and resolve supply chain issues promptly. Finance & Accounts Coordination: - Liaise with the accounts team to review daily sales reports, payment collections, and outstanding dues. - Ensure timely deposit of cash and bank transactions. - Approve vendor payments and reconcile purchase orders with invoices. Operations & Administration: - Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the showroom including staffing, scheduling, and housekeeping. - Monitor workshop/service center efficiency (if applicable). - Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company standards. Team Management & Development: - Supervise and support all department heads including sales, service, accounts, and back office. - Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations. - Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Reporting & Communication: - Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational issues. - Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities and local outreach. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. - Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in showroom operations, preferably in the automobile (2-wheeler) sector. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to multitask and manage various teams and functions simultaneously. - Proficient in MS Office and dealership management software (DMS).
