Job Description NiCE is currently seeking an experienced Performance Engineer to join our dynamic and growing R&D team located in Pune. Responsibilities: Strategic: - Defining and implementing mature methodologies, non-functional processes and best practices utilizing industry standards to harden the product Performance Scalability, and Reliability - Coaching and influencing the larger Engineering team on design for performance topics - Planning and developing performance infrastructure to be used by multiple product teams to enhance and improve their performance testing methodology Tactical: - Design and development of performance testing infrastructure of large scale Server-Client environment enterprise applications - Performing lab testing using Load simulation tools based on defined models the produce Performance reports, in scheduled timeline, achieving clear testing results - Working with the R&D & product management team to identify issues and improvement opportunities and to drive improvements into the performance infrastructure - Coaching and knowledge sharing with the performance team on learning performance tools, scripting, and coding - Enabling performance team members to work as one cohesive engineering team where the combined effort brings increased overall value - Interface with the various R&D Groups Qualifications - 5+ years of proven experience in performance testing with at least 4 years of experience in performance engineering - Development experience in Java (preferred) or Python - Experience in test planning - Familiar with testing methodologies and processes - Hands-on experience with standard load testing tools, such as LoadRunner, Gatling or others - Hands on experience developing performance and automation testing strategies and approaches for large systems - Working experience with any of the standard databases (Oracle/MySQL/MS-SQL). - Knack for automating the mundane, repetitive processes of day-to-day work using any platform or framework. - At least basic knowledge of one or more cloud providers and their services (AWS, GCP, Azure) - PaaS/SaaS performance testing and engineering experience is a plus - Experience in JVM tuning, Heapdump analysis, Threaddump analysis is a plus - BE./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent What's in it for you Join an ever-growing, market disrupting, global company where the teams comprised of the best of the best work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment As the market leader, every day at NiCE is a chance to learn and grow, and there are endless internal career opportunities across multiple roles, disciplines, domains, and locations.
