Job Description Job Description: Motherboard / Chip Level Engineer Job Title: Motherboard Engineer (Chip Level) Department: Technical / Hardware Service Location: E -32, Okhla Phase -2, computer Factory, Contact at 7683055011 Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Chip Level / Motherboard Repair Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair laptops, desktops, and other electronic devices at the component level. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of circuits, SMD components, and motherboard architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair laptop/desktop motherboards at chip level. - Troubleshoot issues related to power, display, charging, heating, I/O ports, BIOS, etc. - Perform BGA reballing, reflow, SMD soldering, IC replacement. - Use tools such as multimeter, DC power supply, oscilloscope, hot air gun, soldering station. - Identify faulty components like MOSFET, capacitor, resistor, IC, GPU, PCH. - Maintain service reports and update repair status regularly. - Ensure high-quality repairs with minimum return cases. - Work with the service team to maintain inventory of components. - Follow safety standards and ESD precautions while handling components. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or related field. - 2+ years of chip-level repair experience (preferred). - Strong understanding of electronics circuits and schematics. - Expertise in soldering/desoldering (SMD/BGA). - Ability to troubleshoot motherboard faults accurately. - Knowledge of BIOS programming & firmware flashing (optional but preferred). - Good communication and documentation skills. Additional Requirements: - Must be able to work independently and handle complex repairs. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple repair tasks. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Salary Range: Based on skills & experience. 18k to 25k
