Job Description Responsibilities: - Responsible for performing all aspects ofprocessengineering and design, Responsible to calculates and organizes data forprocessflow sheets (PFDs and P&IDs) including instrumentation and control system, Review projects,processdesign and detailedengineering documents (including P&ID, PFD) provided by Licensors or FEED or EPC contractors, provide comments and ensure resolution, Review theprocessunit operations, sizing calculations for pressure relieving devices, hydraulic calculation for fluid vapor circuits. - Participates in the design of aprocessunit, including establishingprocessdesign basis, development ofprocessoptions and optimization of selected design. - Review specification and operating parametersprocessequipment including cooling tower system, steam generation system, Air system, Instrument air system, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, flare system, fire water system, ASU system, Injection package, pumps and compressors, Provide appropriate guidance as necessary with regard to local legislation, codes and standard and technical requirements. - Review petrochemical and refiningprocesses and unit operations. Review specifications and operating parameters forprocessequipment including distillation columns, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and fired heaters. Reviewprocessflow diagrams (PFDs) and heat and material balance to define project scope. - Review &calculates and organizes data forprocessflow sheets (PFDs & P&ID's) including instrumentation and control considerations. - Manage direct reports including managing work allocation, training, mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic. - Responsible to Participate in QRA/HAZOP/HSEIA/ HAZID/SIL - Review sizing calculations for pressure relieving devices for system over pressure protection. Review and perform hydraulic calculations for fluid and vapor circuits. Maintains effective communication with project team members. Advise theEngineering Manager ahead of issues becoming critical and provide recommendations to improve these issues. - Work report to LeadprocessEngineerand Project Manager. Functional Skills: - Good exposure and sound knowledge in PE Plant in setting-up all theprocesses to support the business. - Exposure to PEProcessTechnology, HSE system and best practices and participating or carrying out safety procedures like HAZOP etc. - Confidence to deal with individuals at all levels in the organization, Proven conflict resolution skills.
