Job Description Job Description Overview As a Senior Engineer, you'll apply civil, infrastructure, or structural skills to river and maritime works, helping clients manage assets and operations efficiently and safely. Your role - Understand principles of water-related structures (treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, retaining walls). - Lead feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design with relevant code knowledge. - Apply analytical techniques to solve complex problems and present technical work to clients. - Deliver technical expertise independently in one or more familiar disciplines. - Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, structural, planning). - Assign tasks to technicians/apprentices and support junior colleague development. About you - Bachelor's/Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering (Chartered Engineer preferred). - Strong knowledge of Eurocode, BS codes, ACI standards. - Proficient in FE software (Robot, STAAD Pro). - Excellent verbal and written communication capable of preparing technical reports. - Flexible and adaptable to change.
