About The Company Ara s client for the last 50 years with a pan India footprint It is a pioneer and leader in the Indian ICT industry With more than 4000 employees spread across 100 locations in India Ara s client is adding value to every industry through its products services and offerings Over the last 40 years Ara s client have played an integral role in helping clients succeed through many economic cycles by providing expertise and experience in delivering governance services transportation traffic solutions energy management solutions surveillance workforce management broadcasting solutions as well as software services aligning technology with client businesses The Role Business Development Manager Central Government Solution Sales Key Responsibilities Business Development Sales Strategy Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on Central Government Ministries and Central PSUs that are end-users of solutions Identify and target opportunities in ministries such as Agriculture Finance External Affairs Home Affairs Defense Rural Development and Women Child Welfare Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets Client Engagement Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including Section Officers Undersecretaries Deputy Secretaries Joint Secretaries Additional Secretaries and other senior officials Understand client requirements propose tailored solutions and effectively present proposals Act as a trusted advisor to Central Government entities addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction Collaboration Collaborate with internal teams technical pre-sales and delivery to design and deliver customized solutions that meet government requirements Work closely with management to ensure alignment of sales efforts with organizational goals Compliance Reporting Ensure compliance with government procurement processes and regulations Maintain accurate records of interactions proposals and sales activities in CRM systems Provide regular updates on sales progress challenges and market insights to senior management Skills Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior-ranking officials and decision-makers Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to influence complex decision-making processes Confidence and ability to hold discussions independently with top-tier officials including Joint Secretaries and Additional Secretaries Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities Qualifications Experience 810 years in Central Government Sales Any Graduate Required Skills BDM Business Development Territory Management Sales Management Strategic Communication Brand Management Marketing Sales Presentation Skills MS office Government Sales business developmentEducational Qualification Any graduateJan 16 2025Pay Rate1200000 - 1500000 INR Per Annum8 - 10 Years Exp 1 Vacancy
