Company Description Eurofins is a leading provider of assurance and inspection services covering a broad spectrum of sustainable supply chain practices including the circular economy Eurofins helps the customers to identify and mitigate risks in their supply chain and to ensure the benchmarking performance with operations processes systems people or capabilities We hold accreditations for various industry standards and memberships ensuring comprehensive service throughout the supply chain Whether you are in the food consumer products healthcare or cosmetics industries we offer a full range of services including product inspection auditing certification training and consultation Eurofins Assurance helps you mitigate compliance risks enhance quality and prevent safety failures early on safeguarding your business from brand damage product recalls and other potential issues in the future Sustain your business growth and commitment with Eurofins Assurance a global network of assurance experts that you can trust Audits Evaluations Conducting onsite and remote audit activities according to the Global Organic Textile Standard GOTS Textile Exchange - Global Recycled Standard GRS Recycled Claim Standard RCS and Organic Content Standard OCS and the Better Cotton Chain of Custody Standard These audit activities will primarily be within the South India region but may also extend to other parts of India and other countries as needed o Document Review Pre- and post-audit document reviews for client files o Client Services Preparing audit plans coordinating schedules and processing certification activities o Technical Expertise Learn about and become an expert in related certified materials including organic responsible and recycled materials spanning across business areas of textiles plastic metal leather and paper o Reporting Timely submission of audit reports and non-conformance NC reports Keeping the CB Portal always updated with the relevant details o Technical Support to Team Clients Qualifications A minimum requirement of a Diploma in a textile-related field o Preference will be given to Graduate Engineers in Textile Technology o Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the textile industry 3 of which should be with a certification body o Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as an Auditor in Certification Bodies o Experience working with Global Organic Textile Standard GOTS Textile Exchange and Better Cotton o Detailed knowledge of the norm requirements for GOTS GRS RCS OCS and Better Cotton having completed training courses and prior participation in webinars conducted by the Scheme Owners o Knowledge of challenges and issues in the textile and related sectors in India and neighbouring countries o ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training Course Additional Information A thorough professional with a high level of personal integrity and honesty o Impeccable proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must o Knowledge of a foreign language will be an added advantage o Ability and willingness to travel extensively is a must as the principal part of the job is onsite o Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise work o Efficient time management with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Teams o Experience working with IT tools e g CB portal for managing certification activities
