Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with strong experience in 440kV Transmission Line and Substation EPC projects. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end project execution, from costing and planning to vendor coordination and final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complete project lifecycle for 440kV transmission and substation projects
- Prepare detailed project costing, budget estimates, and control plans
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/suppliers for procurement, material delivery, and service support
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Prepare and maintain project schedules (Primavera/MS Project preferred)
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and safety regulations
- Conduct progress reviews and prepare weekly/monthly reports for management and clients
- Interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies for smooth project execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in high-voltage transmission/substation projects
- Proven experience with 440kV or higher voltage levels
- Strong knowledge of project costing and budget control
- Well-established vendor/supplier contacts in the transmission & substation domain
- Familiarity with contract management and commercial negotiation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as required

Preferred Qualifications:

- PMP / PRINCE2 Certification (optional but advantageous)
- Experience with SCADA, protection relays, GIS/AIS substations
- Knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards
