Job Description Summary Wadhwani AI is seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented Communications Consultant to help tell our story and strengthen our voice across channels. As part of a small and collaborative communications team, you will contribute to both internal and external communications, support programmatic communication, and ensure our brand and values are reflected consistently in all content. In the Press: - Our Founder Donors are among the Top 100 AI Influencers - G20 India's Presidency: AI Healthcare, Agriculture, & Education Solutions Showcased Globally. - Unlocking the potentials of AI in Public Health - Wadhwani AI Takes an Impact-First Approach to Applying Artificial Intelligence - data.org - Winner of the H&M Foundation Global Change Award 2022 - Sole Indian Winners of the 2019 Google AI Impact Challenge, and the first in the Asia Pacific to host Google Fellows Cultures page of Wadhwani AI - https://www.wadhwaniai.org/culture/ Roles And Responsibilities - Content Creation: Write and edit a variety of content including donor communications, blog posts, program updates, website content, social media posts, press releases, and brochures. - Social Media Management: Support the Communication team in maintaining and growing our presence across platforms, including drafting posts, engaging with audiences, and monitoring performance. - Storytelling: Create compelling stories and case studies based on our work across domains that connect with donors and supporters. - Website Updates: Help manage and update website content in collaboration with a third-party agency. - Brand Consistency: Ensure all messaging aligns with the organization's mission, tone, and visual identity. - Media & Public Relations Support: Help organize and coordinate multiple media events at the national and regional level and ensure high-impact media visibility among the targeted stakeholders. - Development Collaboration: Work with the team to craft compelling event materials, including scripts for films, photo stories, and other communication collaterals. - Event Management: Help set up high-impact events and event booths, with required collateral support to build organizational visibility and credibility. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred - 3-5 years of communications experience, preferably in a nonprofit, social impact, or mission-driven organization. Competencies: - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi & English. - Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills - Adept at event and stakeholder management - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Self-driven and result-oriented - Ability to travel and work in a project or relevant field sites - Proactive, multi-tasker and has the ability to work and deliver under pressure - Ability to work in cross-functional teams Please note: Important - This role is based in Delhi. - It is for a period of 6-7 months i.e. September/October to March 2026.
