The Role

Finance Controller at Nothing is someone who doesn't just close books, but

opens new possibilities.

This role is a blend of hardcore finance, business partnering, and data-driven

decision-making. From running cash flow forecasts to leading annual

business plans, you'll be the financial co-pilot for leadership and sales. You'll

work across functions-from auditors to banks, marketplaces to forecasting-

and bring structure, control, and strategic clarity to how we grow.

If spreadsheets excite you as much as product P&Ls, and if you can hold your

own in both budget meetings and pricing huddles, this is your zone.

Financial Pulsekeeper

What you'll do:

- Review HQ submissions: cash flow, sales summary, inventory, and

receivables ageing.

- Track working capital status and cash inflow projections.

Month-End Closing Champion

- Lead monthly closure of books with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations.

Strategic Planning Partner

- Contribute to budget submissions and annual business planning.
- Review forecasts for Smartphones and other IOT devices.

Performance & Variance Analyst

- Review monthly/quarterly variances vs. budget and forecasts.
- Provide actionable insights for deviations in financial performance.

Business-Finance Collaborator

- Work closely with Sales team on pricing strategies and rebate

discussions.

- Join weekly KPI calls to align financial and sales metrics.
- Drive product-level P&L reviews and profitability tracking.

Cross-Functional Liaison

- Coordinate with Banks, Auditors, and third-party vendors.
- Support QBR (Quarterly Business Review) and MBR (Monthly

Business Review) reporting cycles.

Inventory Watchdog

- Monitor inventory movement and ageing to manage working capital

efficiently.

What We Are Looking For

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Additional qualification such as MBA (Finance) or CMA. (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of Indian statutory laws (GST, TDS) and regulatory frameworks.
- 1215 years of progressive experience in financial controllership, planning, and analysisideally in a tech, consumer electronics, or high-growth startup environment.
- Deep expertise in financial control, FP&A, and strategic finance.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Strong communication and business partnering abilities.
- Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments.
