This is a global role but locations are Krakow (Poland) and Bangalore (India)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Manager to join Finance & Accounting Operations. This role is key to ensuring effective communication across our finance processes within FAO, as well as support EL CFO in internal communication.
In this role you will create and execute communication strategies to keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged with the company's goals, values, and changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications covering more than one location, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Contribute to and execute comprehensive internal communication plans for the respective groups the role supports ( Finance and Accounting Operations and Electrification CFO organization)
- Aligning communications strategy with FAO's goals and values, supporting our core mission of delivering high-quality communications support between FAO and the Divisions. Across locations (Poland, India, China, Mexico).
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality multi-media content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations.
- Employee Engagement: Design and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and motivation, such as town halls, staff events, and recognition programs.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives by developing and contributing to communication plans that facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IS, HSE, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with FAO's overall business objectives.
- Crisis Communication: Develop and manage internal communication strategies for crisis situations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
- Measurement and Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Leading the team of internal communication managers/ specialists working for the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 8 - 10 years in internal communications, in large or multi-location organizations covering multiple locations preferably within a shared services
- Communication & Leadership: Strong leadership and people management, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience engaging with senior executives.
- Project & Tool Proficiency: Skilled in project management and familiar with tools like intranet CMS, PowerPoint, Apsis; video-editing is a plus.
- Collaboration & Creativity: Able to build relationships across all levels, with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Change & Crisis Management: Experience in managing change and handling crisis communications is advantageous.
