Your Team
Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) function combines Enterprise Architecture and key data capabilities to establish best-in-class core standards, platform and practices. ETS is focused on delivering comprehensive technology solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and resilience across the organization. Key responsibilities include providing architecture guidance and solutioning, delivering data-driven insights and solutions, and proactively managing technology risk. ETS is also committed to simplifying the technology environment to reduce costs, while offering scalable, cost-effective, and self-service engineering platforms and tools. Additionally, the function plays a vital role in promoting engineering excellence by driving best practices and standards across the enterprise.
Your Role
The Head of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), India will lead ETS teams in the application of ETS services supporting domain partners in the creation of innovative solutions that enable business growth and enhance technology stability - with a focus on evolving the Hyderabad-based technology and operations teams into an integrated working environment across all functional areas. A key component of this role is collaborating with the global technology and operations leadership team, Hyderabad senior leadership, and human resources professionals to identify, develop and drive targeted strategies that enhance the integrated talent and development experience for our Hyderabad-based Technology colleagues.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage diverse teams across data platforms, data operations, engineering platforms, enterprise architecture, enterprise practices, and enterprise assurance
- Develop and implement strategic plans to align with global enterprise technology goals
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the teams
- Develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships and collaborates with leaders across all regions and functions
- Drive impactful changes as an integral member of the India Leadership Team (ILT), shaping strategic direction and influencing key decisions as a thought leader
People & Culture
- Promote and facilitate effective collaboration across various horizontal functions to ensure seamless integration and delivery of enterprise technology services
- Work closely with other regional leaders and global counterparts to share best practices and drive consistency in service delivery
- Collaborate with partners across domains in the application of ETS services in the development of innovative technology solutions
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the India-based teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance
- Act as a key liaison between the India-based teams and global technology and operations leadership
- Participate in global strategy meetings and contribute to the development of enterprise-wide technology initiatives
- Ensure alignment of regional activities with global objectives and standards
- Address and resolve any regional challenges or issues that may arise
- Build local team culture with ETS teams and leaders
- Represent ETS organization in local industry forums and events
Talent Development
- Identify and nurture local talent, providing opportunities for growth and development
- Collaborate with talent and training leaders to implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains top talent
The Experience You Bring
- 18+ years of experience in Technology (financial services preferred)
- Demonstrated success and experience in executing large scale initiatives and strategies
- Proven ability with verbal and written communications - with specific skill in creating and presenting presentations and other materials that translate technical information/solutions into easily understandable information
- Structured, detailed approach to work and disciplined time management skills
- Proven experience working in a collaborative environment and building strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within enterprise technology services.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a global organization with a matrix structure
- Experience in talent development and fostering a high-performance culture
- Ability to navigate and manage complex organizational structures and processes
- Experience interacting with senior leadership required
- A strong leader with great skills and talents for managing, exciting, motivating large groups of people into achieving common strategies
Academic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technology or related field of study or equivalent years of direct work experience. A post-graduate degree will be preferred
