You are as unique as your background experience and point of view Here you ll be encouraged empowered and challenged to be your best self You ll work with dynamic colleagues - experts in their fields - who are eager to share their knowledge with you Your leaders will inspire and help you reach your potential and soar to new heights Every day you ll have new and exciting opportunities to make life brighter for our Clients - who are at the heart of everything we do Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals families and communities around the world Assistant Manager - Band 5 2 This role involves working closely with the SLGS Finance Team responsible for supporting the VBA automations in alignment with the digital transformation journey of the organization The ideal candidate is a self-motivated quick learner result-driven individual looking to advance their career with a passion to lead and drive change to improve operational efficiency Responsibilities Develop maintain and enhance existing Excel-based tools and dashboards using VBA Automate recurring finance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with Finance Stakeholders across FP A Billing Taxation and Controllership to gather requirements and deliver customized automation solutions around P L Journal Entries GST returns consolidations reconciliations etc Cross functional collaboration to cater their automation needs Support global finance teams including stakeholders based in Canada ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution Maintain detailed documentation and version control for all automation solutions Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members when needed Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and implement automation solutions Flexibility to support critical business needs Demonstrated success in improving financial processes and reducing manual workloads through automation Strong proficiency in Excel and VBA for automation Good understanding of finance processes including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and financial reporting and terminology Experience working directly with senior finance stakeholders Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Open to learning adaptability to AI emerging technologies Good-to-Have Skills Knowledge of Python SQL Power Query or Power BI Tableau is a plus Experience in managing automation projects from inception to completion Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Job Category Finance Posting End Date 01 10 2025
