About The Role As a Senior Data Analyst at Emeritus, you will play a critical role in shaping data-driven strategies that influence key business decisions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement scalable analytics frameworks that provide actionable insights across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Delivery. You will serve as a thought leader in data analysis, translating complex data sets into meaningful narratives that support learner engagement, optimize course performance, and drive overall business growth. This role requires a collaborative mindset, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, develop innovative analytical solutions, and present insights to executive leadership to facilitate evidence-based decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Candidates should have at least three years of progressive experience in data analysis roles, preferably within edtech or high-growth technology sectors. Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms. Strong skills in Python or R for data analysis and modeling are required, with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to influence business metrics. Familiarity with marketing analytics, cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and experimental design, including A/B and multivariate testing, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively translate complex analyses into compelling business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of education technology platforms, LMS data, and digital learning analytics is a plus, as is experience working with GenAI tools. A passion for leveraging data to democratize education and create social impact on a global scale is highly valued. Responsibilities Develop and automate comprehensive reporting dashboards and analytical models to deliver real-time insights to business stakeholders, enabling quick and informed decision-making. Leverage large, complex datasets from learning platforms, CRM systems, marketing channels, and external partners to generate actionable insights that inform strategic initiatives. Design and deliver analytical solutions that identify key trends, opportunities, and risks related to learner engagement, course effectiveness, and overall business performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, measure, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to course performance, user retention, and growth metrics. Lead advanced analytics projects, including cohort analysis, predictive modeling, A/B testing, multivariate testing, and funnel analytics to uncover insights and optimize user journeys. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by working closely with data engineering and data science teams to continuously improve data pipelines, architecture, and quality control processes. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, fostering a data-driven culture and supporting evidence-based decision-making at all levels of the organization.
