Frontend Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Lead to join our team with multifaceted strengths at LSEG This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our Forge Design System and our agile scrum teams The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development in-depth knowledge of CI CD pipelines expertise in Node js React accessibility a11y Adobe Experience Manager AEM Responsibilities xc2 xb7 Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency to design guidelines across frontend development xc2 xb7 Own the frontend development efforts and coordinate the design and implementation of web applications xc2 xb7 Work closely with the scrum teams to understand project requirements and provide technical mentorship xc2 xb7 Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process xc2 xb7 Provide mentorship and support to team members encouraging growth and skill development xc2 xb7 Ensure the implementation of standard methodologies including code quality performance optimization and accessibility standards xc2 xb7 Lead version control and branching strategies using Git xc2 xb7 Tackle and resolve sophisticated technical issues in the frontend development process xc2 xb7 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in frontend development Education and Experience xc2 xb7 Possession of a BS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field or its foreign equivalent xc2 xb7 Extensive professional experience of at least 10 years in software development with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to application or web service development xc2 xb7 A consistent record of over 5 years in crafting and building web applications using technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 Javascript and relevant frameworks like REACTJS Vue and Angular xc2 xb7 Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a history of guiding geographically distributed engineering teams including onshore offshore and nearshore members xc2 xb7 A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing marketing solutions on AEM Java maven AEM 6 5 xc2 xb7 A strong background in delivering scalable robust software libraries for both internal and external teams xc2 xb7 Proficiency in SDK development and maintenance for Java NodeJS and REACT JS libraries to implement brand guidelines xc2 xb7 Strategic Vision Ability to lead and define a consolidated digital technology strategy that aligns with the needs of various collaborators across the business xc2 xb7 Provision of standardized tooling to empower development teams and maintain consistency across LSEG s digital ecosystem xc2 xb7 Partnership and insight to support the development of a robust single source of truth design system xc2 xb7 Advocacy and facilitation of the efficient adoption of the design system by scrum teams to accelerate the software development process xc2 xb7 Definition of non-functional benchmarks for broader programs and alignment with the central architecture board xc2 xb7 Proficiency in working within a matrixed organization collaborating with business analysts delivery teams architecture UX and QA functions xc2 xb7 Experience in User Experience design and graphic user interface modeling xc2 xb7 Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities including working with customers to bring together requirements xc2 xb7 Advanced ability to transform sophisticated requirements and abstract concepts into practical designs and software applications xc2 xb7 Knowledge of integrating accessibility components for screen readers and other accessibility features into front-end pages xc2 xb7 Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion xc2 xb7 Understanding of the full software development lifecycle xc2 xb7 Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills xc2 xb7 Experience working in an agile development team xc2 xb7 Proven experience and understanding of building applications for xb7 Proficiency in using and designing APIs and RESTful web services in line with industry standards This role is performed during UK business hours and occasional weekend work may be required LSEG is
