Job Title Physics Teacher Grades 6-8 School Board ICSE ISC Location Sree Jayam School Vellore Department Science Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 8 following the ICSE curriculum The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity promote scientific thinking and foster a love for learning through engaging and practical teaching methods Key Responsibilities Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons as per the ICSE syllabus for Grades 6-8 Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the school s academic standards Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts Encourage inquiry-based learning and critical thinking among students Assess and evaluate students academic progress through tests assignments and projects Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback Support students in science fairs exhibitions and other co-curricular activities Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross-disciplinary learning experiences Participate in staff meetings training sessions and school events Ensure a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Master s degree in Physics or Science Education B Ed preferred Prior teaching experience in an ICSE or similar curriculum minimum 2-3 years preferred Strong knowledge of the ICSE syllabus and effective teaching methodologies Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to use technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment Passion for mentoring young learners and fostering a scientific mindset Work Schedule Full-time position As per school academic calendar and working hours Salary Commensurate with qualifications and experience Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
