Job Category Engineering About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Petrochemicals Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex named Green PVC This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals oil gas and downstream sectors The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project which entails a substantial investment of INR 26 000 crore This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride PVC manufacturing Currently in the execution phase the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026 Job Purpose The Project Planning Lead focuses on developing and managing detailed execution schedules for EPC commissioning and operations This role emphasizes creating comprehensive plans monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets The Planning Lead acts as the primary liaison with stakeholders oversees accurate documentation and leads the team to ensure successful project execution Responsibilities Project Planning Lead-PETCHEM Project Planning and Scheduling Develop and manage detailed execution schedules for EPC commissioning and operations using PRIMA VERA and Excel Create comprehensive plans for manpower costs and plant machinery focusing on resource allocation and efficiency Manage master and detailed schedules ensuring alignment with project objectives and tracking adherence to timelines Monitoring and Control Monitor project execution identify issues and escalate them for corrective actions Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address concerns Risk Management Identify potential risks in project planning and scheduling developing and integrating mitigation strategies Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement measures to minimize disruptions Reporting and Documentation Maintain accurate project planning documentation including progress reports and change orders Prepare presentations and updates for project steering committees and management reviews Stakeholder Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for planning-related matters with internal and external stakeholders Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure effective project execution Team Management Oversee team performance to ensure project success maintaining high standards in coordination and technical execution Lead training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards Key Stakeholders - Internal Project Head Project Managers Other disciplines HOD Other site discipline leads Finance Estimation team O M Commissioning team Key Stakeholders - External Subcontractors Vendors EPC EPCM contractors Construction agencies OE PMC Detail design consultant Detail Engineer Contractors Qualifications Educational Qualification B Tech B E in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a reputed institute university A master s degree in the same field is preferred Work Experience Range of years 15-20 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a similar role within a large-sized organization Hands-on experience with project planning and scheduling Experience in managing engineering projects within the petrochemical industry Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
