We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and communication skills, enabling them to analyze and improve business processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure that our solutions meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and identify functional/non-functional requirements.
- Create clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to ensure comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Documentation & Process Mapping:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation such as BRD, SRS, user stories, and use cases.
- Create process maps, workflows, and diagrams to visually represent business processes and system interactions.
- Ensure proper traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Wireframing & UI/UX Collaboration:
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes and mockups to visually communicate the design and functionality of proposed solutions.
- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes to illustrate user flows and application design.
- Assist in the development of functional specifications and user acceptance criteria based on wireframes.
- Agile Methodology & Tools:
- Work within an Agile environment, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Manage user stories, backlogs, and tasks within Jira, ensuring that they are well defined, prioritized, and tracked throughout the development process.
- Assist in the development of test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Skills And Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Jira for managing tasks, user stories, and project backlogs.
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining BRD and SRS documentation.
- Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma, Axure, Sketch).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Sprint management.
- Business Analysis Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in process mapping and requirements analysis.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in conducting gap analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessments.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Other Skills:
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Trello).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document complex information in a clear, structured manner.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
