Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Lead - Surface Treatment, Surface Finishing, and Painting Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee all maintenance activities related to green field surface treatment, surface finishing, and painting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance teams, ensuring efficient and safe operation of equipment, and implementing maintenance strategies to optimize productivity and quality. You will play a crucial role in establishing best practices, leading troubleshooting efforts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks. - Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for surface treatment and finishing equipment. - Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. - Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams on project requirements, equipment upgrades, and new installations. - Manage maintenance budgets, track spending, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. - Train and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and proficiency. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in surface treatment and finishing technologies. Skills and Qualifications: - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience. - Proven experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in surface treatment and finishing operations. - Strong knowledge of surface treatment, coatings, and painting processes. - Familiarity with maintenance management systems and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and operations. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. - Should lead the installation and commissioning activities of equipments.. Tools and Equipment: - Diagnostic and troubleshooting tools for mechanical and electrical systems - Hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks - Calibration and inspection equipment for quality control - Personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety This position offers an exciting opportunity for proactive individuals who are eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic production environment.
