Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Partner to drive growth and foster strong, long-term relationships within our key client accounts. This is a pivotal role requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the IT Services industry, particularly within the Managed Services domain. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire client lifecycle, encompassing sales, service delivery, and executive-level partnership management. You will be responsible for understanding client business objectives, aligning our Managed Services offerings to meet their needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving mutual growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Client Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth targets, expand service penetration, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Business Development (Managed Services Focus): Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our comprehensive suite of Managed Services (e.g., Infrastructure Management, Cloud Services, Security Operations, Service Desk, etc.) within existing client accounts.
- Sales Acumen: Lead the sales process for Managed Services opportunities, including understanding client requirements, developing compelling value propositions, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Delivery Oversight: Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless and high-quality execution of Managed Services agreements, meeting or exceeding client expectations and SLAs.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organizations, including C-suite executives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, delivery, and client satisfaction. Provide regular reports and insights to internal leadership and clients.
- Problem Solving and Escalation Management: Proactively identify and address client concerns and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution in collaboration with internal teams.
- Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving client needs within the Managed Services sector.
- Internal Collaboration: Work effectively with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, delivery, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment and efficient service delivery.
- Contract Management: Understand and manage the contractual obligations and commercial aspects of client engagements.
- Account Growth and Expansion: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing client relationships and potentially within their broader ecosystem.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in the IT Services industry.
- Significant and demonstrable experience (10+ years) specifically within the Managed Services domain, encompassing sales, delivery oversight, and client management.
- Proven track record of successfully selling Managed Services solutions and achieving revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of various Managed Services offerings and their value proposition.
- Strong client relationship management skills with experience in building and nurturing executive-level relationships.
- Excellent understanding of IT service delivery methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven ability to manage complex client engagements and resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
