Immediate Start: Production Manager

Role Overview We are looking for a Production Manager – Robotics to lead the end-to-end assembly, integration, testing, and delivery of our AI-driven robotic and vision inspection systems. You will manage production planning, supply chain, assembly line efficiency, quality control, and field readiness of robotic systems deployed across industries like automotive, aluminum, cement, and railways. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical depth, operational discipline, and the ability to scale manufacturing of complex robotic systems with precision and speed. Key Responsibilities 1. Production & Operations - Plan, schedule, and execute production of robotic inspection systems as per project timelines. - Manage fabrication, mechanical assembly, wiring, testing, and calibration of robotic systems. - Ensure zero-defect delivery of assemblies, enclosures, conveyors, camera rigs, and AGV components. - Standardize production SOPs and implement lean manufacturing principles. 2. Supply Chain & Vendor Management - Source and coordinate with vendors for components like cameras, sensors, motors, controllers, and mechanical parts. - Optimize inventory levels and lead times. - Develop alternate suppliers for critical parts to ensure continuity and cost efficiency. 3. Quality & Reliability - Define and implement quality assurance protocols for mechanical, electrical, and software integration. - Oversee FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and simulate field conditions for validation. - Maintain documentation for traceability, calibration logs, and compliance requirements. 4. Team Leadership - Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians (mechanical, electrical, robotics). - Build capability through training, skill matrix mapping, and performance tracking. - Foster a culture of precision, ownership, and continuous improvement. 5. Collaboration - Work closely with R&D and Design teams to translate prototypes into production-ready builds. - Coordinate with Project and Field Service teams for deployment readiness and feedback loop closure. - Participate in design reviews, manufacturability assessments, and field data evaluations.
