Job Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Instructor to join our team remotely. As a piano instructor, you will teach students of varying skill levels, helping them develop their musical abilities through engaging and tailored lessons. Key Responsibilities: - Teach piano lessons to students across different skill levels, from beginners to advanced. - Create personalized lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and learning goals of students. - Use advanced virtual teaching platforms and resources to enhance lesson delivery. - Provide timely and constructive feedback to ensure students growth and improvement. - Maintain open communication with students and their families to monitor progress. - Encourage and support students in developing both technical skills and musical expression. - Adapt teaching methods based on the diverse needs and learning styles of students. Requirements - Education: A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, relevant teaching certifications or significant experience in teaching piano are acceptable. - Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in teaching piano, either remotely or in person, with a strong understanding of various teaching techniques and methods. - Skills: - Proficient in piano performance, including classical and contemporary styles. - Ability to teach both beginner and advanced students. - Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and music teaching software (e.g., Simply Piano, Flowkey, etc.). - Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain musical concepts clearly. - Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and levels. - Technical Requirements: - A reliable internet connection and a suitable device to conduct lessons (computer/tablet with camera and microphone). - A professional and quiet space for teaching.
