As a global leader in mass spectrometry SCIEX delivers solutions for precision detection and quantification of molecules to help protect and advance the wellness and safety of all Because of our 50 years of groundbreaking innovation our customers can quickly respond to environmental hazards better understand biomarkers relevant to disease improve patient care in the clinic bring relevant drugs to market faster and keep food healthier and safer At SCIEX you ll find a rewarding role that amplifies your impact on the world and helps you realize life s potential SCIEX is proud to work alongside a community of nine fellow Danaher Life Sciences companies Together we re pioneering the future of science and medicine developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives Associate Field Service Engineer should conducts service repair and or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site including electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution Escalates complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system May develop new customer service product agreements Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible to maintain and install SCIEX products at both internal and external customer sites including strategic accounts Conducts maintenance service and or installation of Capillary Electrophoresis LC and Mass Spectrometer Instruments at customer site including electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory Core Responsibilities Completes and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities with Working knowledge of SCIEX and OEM products CE LC LCMS-MS Experienced in performing high quality installation repair and maintenance on mass spec instruments Performs IQ OQ and other qualification products Includes training Experienced in HPLC CE installation and maintenance Performs preventive maintenance on select products Education and or Work Experience Requirements MSc BE in Electronics or Instrumentation Specialization in Analytical Instrumentation 6-8 years of relevant experience in Lifesciences or related industry In-depth understanding of analytical instrumentation in research specific to mass spectrometry He she should have hands on experience related to instruments like CE Mass Spec HPLC etc Excellent communication skills written and oral Flexibility to travel frequently at short notice Join our winning team today Together we ll accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow s science and technology We partner with customers across the globe to help them solve their most complex challenges architecting solutions that bring the power of science to life For more information visit
