Job Description - Location: Gurgaon, India - Company: CityMall About CityMall CityMall is a series-D funded e-commerce platform focused on 500 million new to internet users, collectively referred to as Bharat. As a horizontal e-commerce player, CityMall focuses on categories including grocery, FMCG products, electronics, apparel, household items & general merchandise. Bharat consumers are untouched by traditional E-commerce with large players like Flipkart, Blinkit & Big Basket largely operating in the tier-1 & metropolitan cities of India and focusing on relatively premium households. Key bottlenecks for penetrating Bharat households are lack of trust, lack of familiarity to browse & purchase online, low average order value (which makes economic viability a challenge for the platforms), and lack of online credit channels (which neighbourhood stores offer). CityMall is a highly effective channel to serve these consumers through a layer of Community Partners. Community Partners act as social & geographical connectors between the end consumers and CityMall. They help us in reducing the last mile delivery cost and thereby make our operations cost the most efficient and lowest in comparison to all ecommerce platforms, making it viable to serve this consumer profitably. Founded by IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee alumni with 10+ years of entrepreneurial experience, CityMall aims to bring e-commerce to Bharat consumers. CityMall has so far raised $165 Mn with the most recent round of $47 Mn (Series D) in September 2025 and is backed by Top tier VCs like Accel Partners, Elevation Capital, Waterbridge, General Catalyst, Jungle Ventures, & Norwest. Role Overview We are looking for a highly creative and driven person to work on CityMall's visual identity across platforms. This person will be responsible for designing and conceptualising visuals that goes out to the public, from app banners, performance marketing creatives, social media campaigns, push notifications, and more. The ideal candidate will be a graduate from NIFT/NID, with 24 years of professional experience post-graduation, preferably in digital-first companies. You will not only design but ensure consistent brand language & compelling creative output that drives user engagement and conversions. Key Responsibilities Execute on the creative direction for CityMall's brand across digital and offline platforms. Create high-impact visual communication: Digital ads, Social Media Creatives, App Banners, Offline communication, Private Label Packaging, etc. Collaborate with product, marketing, and growth teams to translate ideas into compelling visual stories that resonate with Bharat audiences. Drive the thinking side of design, conceptualizing campaigns, understanding user behavior, and crafting visuals that convert. Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives. Requirements Graduate from NIFT/NID with 2-4 years of post-graduation experience in creative design. A strong portfolio showcasing experience with digital-first companies, particularly in performance and digital campaigns. Understanding and application of the latest Gen-AI tools for visual creation, such as Midjourney and ChatGPT. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). A deep understanding of what drives conversion-focused creatives across digital platforms. Strong conceptual thinking with excellent visual storytelling and communication skills.
