Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and developers to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to support data-driven decision-making.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications (BRDs, user stories, process flows).
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design effective solutions aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Develop wireframes, workflows, and process diagrams to visualise business requirements.
- Assist in defining KPIs and metrics for product and project success, and track outcomes post-launch.
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend optimisation or automation opportunities.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication.

Skills & Qualifications Required

- Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a Business Analyst in IT, SaaS, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and wireframes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, SaaS platforms, or construction/operations software is desirable (but not mandatory).
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
