Job Description Company Description Proteus Partners draws inspiration from the ancient Greek sea god Proteus, known for adapting to challenges by changing forms. We work as hands-on partners with startups, assisting them in navigating the diverse challenges they face, such as scaling, brand building, go-to-market strategies, expansion, and team alignment. Acting as Fractional Co-Founders, we immerse ourselves in the journey of our partner businesses, providing practical and customized solutions rather than generic advice. At Proteus, our mission is to collaborate closely with founders, adapting to their needs and challenges to achieve growth and success. Role Description As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Proteus Partners, you will work full-time from our Mumbai office. You will engage with startups at varying growth stages, providing strategic insight and practical implementation. Responsibilities include developing scalable business strategies, supporting brand and product development, identifying and executing market opportunities, facilitating structured reviews and OKRs, and working alongside founders in addressing operational challenges. You will play a chief role in building robust partnerships and driving measurable results for our partner organizations. Qualifications - Strong skills in Strategic Thinking, Business Development, and Scaling Operations - Expertise in Market Research, Marketing Strategy, and Brand Building - Capability in Operational Execution, Problem Solving, Team Structuring, and OKR Implementation - Proficiency in Communication, Leadership, and Relationship Management - Experience in startup environments or entrepreneurship is highly advantageous - A background in Business Administration, Management, or related fields is preferred - Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to work on diverse challenges with evolving priorities - A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
