AVP/ VP - Debt Syndication

Responsibilities -

- Origination, execution and completion of Debt Capital Market Transactions including syndicated debt, structured finance, acquisition/ bridge finance project finance.
- Handle the entire gamut of pre- and post-sanction activities including project evaluation or appraisal, preparation of term sheets and negotiation thereof with the clients, assistance in security creation until the loan disbursement stage.
- Excellent team and relationship management skills with diversify lenders.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation ability will be key; must be comfortable with ambiguity and the demands that naturally arise from rapid growth.

- Profile for Debt Syndication involves Syndication of project debt obligations both new and expansion projects.
- Syndication of long- term and short-term debt for corporate customers, and designing, financing, and implementing structured products.
- Securitization and Debt Refinancing.
- Achieving targeted fee-based income & maintaining and enhancing business quality would be the important responsibilities.
- Origination, appraisal & placement would be the 3 important dimensions of this profile.
- Should be able to handle/ supervise Syndication, Project Finance Advisory, Refinancing, Restructuring, Financial Appraisal, Project Appraisal, Due Diligence Mandates independently from formulation of a proposal till the credit approval of the same and documentation.
- Would be responsible for Business development, origination, client relationship. Should be able to ideate, innovate, strategize to source business. Should be able to guide the team for origination and winning pitches & mandates across various industries.
- Should ensure successful completion of the assignment within timelines. Should have effective co-ordination with clients and Banks, FIs, NBFCs.
- Should have excellent knowledge of preparation and review of financial model.
- Should have excellent understanding of Financial Statements with ability to analyse balance sheet and to provide solutions to clients.
- Thorough analysis of financial statements for risk assessment from lending perspective, Evaluation of business model and other aspects for credit facilities, Preparation of CMA data/ projections and project reports/IMs.
- Should have excellent relationship with Banks, FIs, NBFCs at various levels. Should have excellent experience in liaisoning with Banks, FIs, NBFCs.
- Should have excellent understanding of Bank functioning, Bank products, Bank policies especially relating to lending, credit facilities, restructuring, resolution of stressed assets etc.
- Thorough knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to banks for loans, credit, ECB, provisioning, resolution of stressed assets etc.
- Preparation of detailed proposals to banks/financial institutes as per prescribed formats.
- To handle the entire gamut of pre and post sanction activities including project evaluation/appraisal, preparation of term sheets/legal documents and negotiation thereof with the clients, assistance in security creation until the loan disbursement stage. To keep the self and team informed on relevant regulatory, legal and compliance guidelines.
