Production Engineering Team is currently looking for an Experienced Numerical Control Programmer to join their team in Bangalore. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Lead NCP Programmers from BIETC and US NCP Teams to create NC Tool Path, Post Processing, Verification of Tool Path & Creating Supporting NCP Packages to enable the BCA business to meet their organizational goals. Position Responsibilities: - Develops, Implements, Verifies Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry for various manufacturing processes. - Creates Tool Path in CatiaV5/UG-NX/ MasterCAM. - Multi-axis complex CNC Machines experience. - CNC Program Troubleshooting & Problem solving - Knowledge of post processors used for various CNC Machines. - Post Processor Customization & Development for Multi Axis machines - Knowledge of Composite Machining & Composite layup. - Provides numerical control programming technical expertise to support the manufacturing of metallic and composite parts and assemblies. - Develop and integrate new machining techniques, processes, and manufacturing methods for equipment. - Discovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. - Knowledge of robotics programming to support automated manufacturing and robotic machining applications. - Provides machine operator instructions and documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment as per established process. - Develop Vericut Project Templates to verify part program accuracy with respect to the various machining platforms. - Virtual machine & control building expertise in CGTech's Vericut Simulation software to support building the machine kinematics to accurately reflect the motion of CNC machine. - Creates/Modifies, Develops, Implements & Verifies the Vericut Simulation Setup for various machining platforms. - Customize and automate CAM processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Develop automation solutions to streamline CNC programming and machining workflows. - Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION. - 8+ years of work experience in aerospace NC Programming, Post Processing, Vericut Simulation. - Hands on experience in CatiaV5, MasterCAM, NX and Vericut. - Knowledge of Workholding devices. - Vericut Machine & Control Building - Post Processor Building & Customization - Interpret engineering drawing and MBD. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Experience with Boeing products/Commercial aircraft platforms is highly desirable. - Any CAM Certifications Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through a Bachelor's in engineering (Production/Mechanical/Aerospace) and typically 8 to 12 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Masters in Engineering + 7 years related work experience).
