Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Design & Development to lead our engineering and product development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic engineering initiatives, driving new product development, and ensuring design excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle. This role requires a leader with a strong background in Design Thinking and a passion for optimizing processes to achieve superior results.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with company goals. You will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- New Product Development: Oversee and drive the new product development process. You will lead teams in Product Design and implement Design Thinking methodologies to foster innovation and creativity.
- Optimization & Excellence: Optimize existing processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive engineering excellence. This includes leveraging Application Engineering to find innovative solutions and enhance product performance.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a design and development function.
- Expertise in Product Design and Product Lifecycle Management.
- A strong background in New Product Development (NPD) and Design Thinking implementation.
- Experience in developing and executing engineering strategies.
